Atty.Mercedes Estalilla, a CPA-lawyer is the new Revenue District Officer (RDO) of BIR Bataan.

She has already accumulated 33 years in service and was assigned in Metro Manila for 20 years.

She was also assigned in Region 4 for 13 years, and the provinces of Pampanga, Olongapo, Nueva Ecija, and Aurora. Estalilla said BIR Bataan will conduct continued campaign for the taxpaying public to pay promptly correct taxes.

BIR Bataan Admin and HR Officer Gemo Espinosa said the BIR Bataan chief wants to hold seminars for businesses all over the province like ecozone locators, contractors, beach resorts, and restaurants, among others to explain the importance of paying taxes for the government to deliver the much needed services to the people.

Estalilla asked taxpayers in the district to help them achieve their tax collection target.
